Director Biography
Russian actor Alexei Markov, was born in Kalinin town, USSR (100 miles from Moscow). An only child, he was raised by his mother, an economist by profession, and by his grandparents; a choreographer and a physics teacher. He began acting, doing theatre in high school. In 2001, he was hired as a co-host of 1 channel TVprogramme "Vzglyad", opposite Alexander Luybimov.In 2011 he graduated from The Russian University of Dramatic Arts.
