Synopsis
The film opens with a scene of deathof a young choir singer in a seminary, evidencepointing to necrophilia. The police suspects andtortures two students. What follows is a non-linear, fragmented, cinematic collection ofimages that travel back and forth in time in finedetail at times and just a suggestive glance atother times, thus assisting and obfuscating theviewer in his engagement with the film. Parentalcompulsion earlier forces the protagonist-one ofthe two suspects to the seminary, where while inpursuit of the path of St.Francis of Assissi, theanxiety, challenges, conflicts, and the tormentthat accompany the process of growing up intoan adult transforms him into a vengeful man.
