Lucie is an actress, but she wanted to be a director. She goes reluctantly to one of many casting calls. After the usual questions, her conversation goes wrong with the casting director, and turns into hostility. Until reality meets fiction. Or maybe it’s the other way round.
Lionel Kaplan is a screenwriter, a director and also a producer. "The Trouble with Lucie" is his fourth short film as a director. He’s currently working on his first feature film, produced by Five 2 One Films whose script won the Prix Beaumarchais and the Prix Altermedia. He also works on a second project, a dark comedy entitled "Rien sans rien".
