Director Bennett Lasseter was a quiet kid, growing up in Sonoma, CA. He learned to speak up when he took his first film class in high school. While earning his Bachelor’s Degree in film production at Loyola Marymount, Bennett explored editing, light and grip work, and interned at Disneynature. In his senior year, he discovered his voice as a director. Bennett earned his MFA at the American Film Institute, where he continued to hone his craft as a storyteller.
